Waste and recycling collection for all residences is provided by a private waste collection company. Rumpke or CSI will provide each single-family residence with a Rumpke or CSI owned 96-gallon waste wheeler receptacle (used with an automated truck) and recycling bin, both for a small charge to the resident. Both items should remain at the residence as they are the property of Rumpke and CSI.

Recycling Drop-Off Locations (open to the public) - provided free to Sycamore Township residents, free recycling drop-off locations serve the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Containers are marked for newspaper and magazines, glass, plastic, and food and beverage cans. Any questions, please call (513) 791-8447. Drop-off recycling locations include:
8540 Kenwood Road (behind the Township Administration building)
Recycling Guidelines↓
*Please rinse all bottles and jars, and remove the lids. There is no need to remove labels, since they disintegrate in the recycling process.
*Flatten all cans and plastic bottles to conserve space. Please break down cardboard to 3'x3' sections, and flatten all boxes.
*Place all recyclables together in your bin. Thanks to Rumpke's single stream processing method, all recyclables are mechanically sorted at the processing facility.
*We strive to accept as many items as possible. We can not collect certain items because of contamination issues
