It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.  </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state and local governments, the military and our community. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">This year’s theme is “<em>Pray Fervently in Righteousness</em>.” </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Join us for the National Day of Prayer at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4th. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S.
