On February 1, 2023, Jonathan T. Deters took the Oath of Office for Sycamore Township Fiscal Officer, filling the unexpired term of Robert C. Porter, III, who retired at the end of January after 32 years of service. Jon was officially sworn in by his father, Ohio Supreme Court Justice Joseph T. Deters. There will also be a ceremonial swearing-in before Jon’s first Trustee meeting on February 7th. Congratulations, Jon, and thank you for accepting this appointment to serve the residents of Sycamore Township as Fiscal Officer!
