Lieutenant Dan Reid has recently been hired by the Sycamore Township Trustees as their liaison officer to the Sheriff’s Department in June. Lt. Reid has been with the department for over 24 years. His assignments throughout his career have spanned from starting as a corrections officer to a patrol district commander. He has been trained in many aspects of law enforcement to include graduating from the F.B.I. National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
