Document Shredding for Residents
Document Shredding for Sycamore Township residents will take place Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Township Administration Building at 8540 Kenwood Road.
Be prepared to show proof of residency.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state and local governments, the military and our community.
This year’s theme is “Exalt the Lord who has Established Us.”
Join us for the National Day of Prayer at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May
5th. After the service, all are invited to enjoy lunch provided by Chick-fil-A.

Sycamore Township offers a scheduled monthly Brush Chipping Program for residents, providing residents the opportunity to drop off tree and brush trimmings behind the Township Administration Building free of charge for the recycling of wood chips and mulch. Residents are asked to bring their brush and limbs to the rear of the Township Administration building where maintenance personnel will assist in the unloading and chipping of the material. This program normally runs the first Saturday of each month (**excluding holiday weekends) from April through December.
**July and September brush chipping will be the second Saturday of the month.

The 2022 V.F.W. Memorial Day Parade is a joint event with Deer Park, Silverton, and Sycamore Township. The parade route is north on Ohio Ave., East on Webster Ave., North on Blue Ash Rd., stopping at Chamberlin Park then onto Sycamore Rd. and Bechtold Park. The Fire Department will hold a Community Car Seat Check event for Township residents on Saturday, June 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the South Fire Station 92 at 8540 Kenwood Road.
