Sycamore Township offers a scheduled monthly Brush Chipping Program for residents, providing residents the opportunity to drop off tree and brush trimmings behind the Township Administration Building free of charge for the recycling of wood chips and mulch. Residents are asked to bring their brush and limbs to the rear of the Township Administration building where maintenance personnel will assist in the unloading and chipping of the material. This program normally runs the first Saturday of each month (**excluding holiday weekends) from April through December.
The Sycamore Township Board of Trustees will receive sealed bid proposals until 10:00 a.m. October 16, 2025, at the Office of the Fiscal Officer, 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Ohio 45236, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the HAM School and Solzman Sidewalk, (PID 119074). The Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m., October 16, 2025, at the above address. Your proposal envelope shall be marked ” HAM School and Solzman Sidewalk, (PID 119074)”. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, full sets only, may be obtained at Eastern Engineering for a non-refundable payment for each set of documents. Due to the recent snowfalls, curbside leaf collection has been extended.
All leaves must be out to the curb by 8:00 a.m., Monday, December 22nd for guaranteed pickup by our maintenance crews as they make one last Township wide sweep.
