
Sycamore Township offers a scheduled monthly Brush Chipping Program for residents, providing residents the opportunity to drop off tree and brush trimmings behind the Township Administration Building free of charge for the recycling of wood chips and mulch. Residents are asked to bring their brush and limbs to the rear of the Township Administration building where maintenance personnel will assist in the unloading and chipping of the material. This program normally runs the first Saturday of each month (excluding holidays) from April through December.

Larchview Drive and Plainfield Road Improvements
Bids for the Larchview Drive and Plainfield Road Improvements project will be received by Sycamore Township at the Township Complex, 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Ohio 45236, until Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found and downloaded at the following website: choiceoneengineering.com/projects-out-for-bid. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office of Choice One.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required.
DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.
Bidder must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Hamilton County and the Sycamore Township, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
The Sycamore Township Board of Trustees will receive sealed proposals until 2:00 p.m. on August 12, 2021, at the Office of the Fiscal Officer, 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Ohio 45236, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the Dillonvale Subdivision Culvert Improvements. At that time, the bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at Phipps Reprographics Silverton, Ohio.
