The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state and local governments, the military and our community. The Sycamore Township Board of Trustees will receive sealed proposals until 10:00 a.m. May 21, 2021 at the Office of the Fiscal Officer, 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Ohio 45236, for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the Montgomery Road Crosswalk Pavement Marking Program. Specifications may be obtained at the Office of the Fiscal Officer. Your envelope shall be marked “Montgomery Road Crosswalk Pavement Marking Program”. Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m., May 21, 2021 at the above address. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids.

The Hostas, Black-Eyed Susans, Lily of the Valley, and Iris need to be thinned.
Bring gardening gloves, a hand trowel or shovel, and a box to take some home.
Activity level: moderate, with bending and digging

The 2021 V.F.W. Memorial Day Parade is a joint event with Deer Park, Silverton, and Sycamore Township. The tentative parade route is north on Ohio Ave., East on Webster Ave., North on Blue Ash Rd., stopping at Chamberlin Park then onto Sycamore Rd. and Bechtold Park.

Bids for the Larchview Drive and Plainfield Road Improvements project will be received by Sycamore Township at the Township Complex, 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Ohio 45236, until Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found and downloaded at the following website: choiceoneengineering.com/projects-out-for-bid. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office of Choice One.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required.
