The Zoning Commission Meeting has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 public health crisis.
The Sycamore Township Administration Building will be closed to the public at least for the month of April due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. The Board of Trustees are proceeding with the public meeting remotely utilizing live stream video access for the public.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the issuance of a Stay-at-Home order by Governor DeWine and the Director of the Ohio Department of Health, and due to enabling legislation (House Bill 197) which permits Ohio governments to meet remotely during this time, The Sycamore Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold their April 20, 2020, 5:00 p.m. public hearing via remote video with all participants joining in by videoconference. Members of the public who have interest in the cases to be heard are invited to submit comments or questions in writing prior to the meeting to Jessica Daves, Planning & Zoning Assistant, at [email protected] or by dropping off written comments in the bin at the Sycamore Township Fire Station 92 at 8540 Kenwood Road. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state and local governments, the military and our community. On May 7, 2020 at 6:30 pm, the Board of Township Trustees of Sycamore Township, Hamilton County, Ohio will hold a public hearing to consider entering into a contract to designate a joint economic development district under Ohio Revised Code Section 715.72 for the City of Deer Park-Sycamore Township Joint Economic Development District. The public hearing shall allow for public comment and recommendations on the contract and district. The following documents are on file for public inspection: (1) A copy of the contract creating the district, including the economic development plan for the district and a schedule for the provision of any new, expanded, or additional services, facilities, or improvements; (2) A description of the area or areas to be included in the district, including a map in sufficient detail to denote the specific boundaries of the area or areas and indicating any zoning restrictions applicable to the area or areas; (3) A schedule for the collection of taxes. These documents may be reviewed in the office of the Sycamore Township Fiscal Officer at the Township Administration Office located at 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Hamilton County, Ohio 45236 or online at www.sycamoretownship.org.

Th Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled due to the COVID -19 public health crisis.
The 2020 Memorial Day Parade is a joint event with Deer Park, Silverton, and Sycamore Township. Line up starts at 9:15 a.m. at Silverton Park. This year, due to road construction, the parade route will travel north on Plainfield Road instead of Blue Ash Road, ending at Bechtold Park. Please visit the Township or Fire Department websites and social media outlets for any updates that may occur.
