At their Workshop on Tuesday, September 29th, the Sycamore Township Trustees discussed issued by the State of Ohio. The Trustees decided to set Trick-or-Treat hours as they normally would and leave it up to our residents to read guidelines suggested by the State of Ohio and public health officials to determine whether or not they would like to participate. It is recommended that households giving out candy leave an outside light on, and those who choose not to turn their light off, so children and their parents may easily know which houses are passing out to candy to the youngsters. Trick-or-Treat hours in Sycamore Township will be Saturday, October 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state and local governments, the military and our community.
