The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state and local governments, the military and our community.
This year’s theme is “Exalt the Lord who has Established Us.”
Join us for the National Day of Prayer at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5th. After the service, all are invited to enjoy lunch provided by Chick-fil-A.
Canceled due to lack of an agenda.
The Tax Incentive Review Council Meeting has been postponed to a date to be determined.
