The 2024 V.F.W. Memorial Day Parade is a joint event with Deer Park, Silverton, and Sycamore Township. The parade route is north on Ohio Ave., East on Webster Ave., North on Blue Ash Rd., stopping at Chamberlin Park then onto Sycamore Rd. and Bechtold Park. The Sycamore Township Board of Trustees will receive sealed bid proposals until 10:00 a.m. September 26, 2024, at the Office of the Fiscal Officer, 8540 Kenwood Road, Sycamore Township, Ohio 45236, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the Ham-Sycamore Township Preemption, (PID119073). The Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m., September 26, 2024, at the above address. Your proposal envelope shall be marked ” Ham-Sycamore Township Preemption, (PID119073)”. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, full sets only, may be obtained at Eastern Engineering for a non-refundable payment for each set of documents. Touch a Truck Event @ Township Administration Building

Bring the whole family to the Touch a Truck event behind the Township Administration building on Saturday, October 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!

The kids will love seeing the fire trucks, dump trucks, Sheriff’s S.W.A.T. vehicles, Bomb Squad, K-9 Unit, and more! Republic Waste Services is bringing a garbage truck for kids to see up close!

Be sure to be there by 11:00 a.m. when the UC Health Air Care helicopter arrives! Sycamore Township Fire Department personnel will perform a training exercise with UC Health Air Care.

There will also be an inflatable corn maze, face painting, and games to play, music provided by On The Air Entertainment, plus food truck Granny’s Goodies on the Go! and more to be announced!
