NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Sycamore Township Board of Trustees will hold two public hearings on April 2, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. and April 16, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sycamore Township Administration Building, 8540  Sycamore, Ohio 45236 for the purpose of hearing public comments on the community development needs of Sycamore Township, and to discuss the possible submission of one or more Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 program years. The CDBG program is administered by the Community Development Department of Hamilton County, Ohio, and will make funds available to eligible local governments for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The first hearing held on April 2, 2024 will provide further information about the CDBG program and will allow for citizen participation in the development of any proposed grant applications and/or to provide technical assistance to develop alternate proposals. Comments on the CDBG program or proposed project(s) will be received at this time. The second hearing will review the projects that Sycamore Township intends to submit to Hamilton County for funding. The hearings are being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
