The aggregated gas supplier for Sycamore Township is AEP Energy. A new rate of $0.6499 with AEP Energy will go into effect with the November, 2025 bill and will continue through October, 2026.
Opt-out letters will be mailed to eligible accounts beginning in late August through mid-September: sample opt-out letter to residents
If you wish to remain in the aggregation program, there is no response needed. If you wish to opt-out, you may do so after you receive the letter by choosing one of the three options listed in the letter. The deadline to opt-out of the program is September, 16, 2025.
