We invite you to join local clergy and community members for the National Day of Prayer event in Sycamore Township to be held in the front parking lot of the Administration building at 8540 Kenwood Road on Thursday, May 1st at noon. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
Sycamore Township hosts a National Day of Prayer event annually, inviting clergy from local churches and synagogues to lead us in prayer for our nation, federal, state, and local governments, the military, and our community. The Moeller High School Band, led by Michael Walker, will provide the music. This year’s theme is “Pour Out to the God of Hope and Be Filled.” Join us!
After the service, all are invited to enjoy lunch courtesy of
Chick-fil-A, Kenwood Towne Centre.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the firehouse bays.
Thank you to our prayer leaders!
