MTIF Grants Awarded to Sycamore Township

Sycamore Township Administrator Greg Bickford attended Cincinnati Metro's third annual Metro Transit Infrastructure Funds (MTIF) Grant Signing Ceremony on February 20th. Greg was there to accept two grants on behalf of Sycamore Township, one in the amount of $4,195,528.00 for the Kenwood Road Improvement Project and another $236,475.00 grant for the Finley Lane

$4.4 Million Grant Awarded

Sycamore Township Awarded $4.4 Million in Grant Funding for Infrastructure Improvements In May 2020, the residents of Hamilton County voted to replace Cincinnati Metro's existing funding model, which relied primarily on the city's earnings tax, with a new funding structure.  In January 2021, a 0.8-percent county sales tax started funding what is now called SORTA.

Happiness Way Traffic Study

Sycamore Township contracted with TEC engineering to complete a traffic study at Happiness Way to determine if there is a significant number of vehicles using Happiness Way to by-pass the Kenwood Road & Galbraith Road intersection.
